My entry into the world of Single Malt Whisky began during my trip to Scotland back in 2000. One of the stops on the tour was the Edradour distillery, Scotlands smallest legal distillery. Since that time I have studied the Scotch industry and have attended many tastings. I belonged to a Scotch club in Chicago and am currently a senior member of the LA Scotch Club. I have lost count, but I have sampled over 750 different Malt Whiskies.

I also collect Scotch from shuttered distilleries and I have round 70 bottles of rare Scotch in my collection at any given time.
